Looking after yourself is a really important part of recovering from sexual violence and extremely important for your mental health in general!

The things that you do for self-care will be very different for every person, but it can really help to have a list of all the things that you know work for you, as when you are having a really tough day, it’s normal to not be able to remember the things that will help.

One survivor of sexual violence who has had support from the Rosey Project made this illustration of things she does to help.
