We offer support to girls who have
experienced rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, sexual bullying,
sexual harassment, stalking and any other kind of sexual violence no matter
when it happened.
You can come in for one to one support with our Support
Worker Lauren at the Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre or we can provide support for
you at your school or college.
You can refer yourself for support by contacting Lauren by email or you can call our helpline on 08088 00 00 14 and one of our support workers will be able to help you. If you are feeling nervous someone can contact us on your behalf: we’ll just ask them to confirm that they have your permission.
It’s normal to feel nervous about coming along for support or even to wonder what getting support involves. Your sessions with a support worker are a chance for you to talk through your feelings and how things are affecting you. There’s never any pressure to go into detail about what’s happened or talk about something that makes you feel uncomfortable.
Workers can contact Lauren to refer a young women for support by email or you can contact her via the main office line at Glasgow Rape Crisis on 0141 552 3201.
We provide awareness raising workshops for boys and girls in schools, community youth groups and colleges, we have various age appropriate workshops for young people from the age of 12. If you would like to find out more about our workshops please contact our Prevention Worker Paula by email or you can call her on the main office line at Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre on 0141 552 3201.
We also provide awareness raising workshops for people who are caring for or support young people and training for workers who are supporting young people affected by sexual violence. To find out more about this you can contact Paula by email.
